Editing scripts
Select a server, then a script. The editor highlights the Sieve syntax and checks the script while you type.
Problems and quick fixes
Errors and warnings are underlined. The status bar below the editor counts them; select it (Mac: ⇧⌘M) to open the
Problems list, and select a problem to jump to it. After a short pause in typing the list opens by itself when
the script has errors. Some problems offer a quick fix, e.g. adding a missing require for an extension.
The check knows the extensions your server announced, so it flags commands your server does not support. Check on Server (⇧⌘K) lets the server check the script, too, without uploading it.
Formatting
Format (⌃⌘I) indents the script consistently. Choose spaces or tabs and the indentation width in Settings › Editor.
Find and replace, Go to Line
- Find (⌘F) searches the script; the find bar also replaces.
- Go to Line (⌘L) jumps to a line number. The status bar shows the line and column of the cursor.
Drafts
Every change is kept as a local draft on this device, also after you quit the app. A pencil in the script list marks scripts with local changes. The draft is gone once the script is uploaded.
